Inspired by the buffalo hunters of the Prairies during the mid-1800's, the Great Plains Hunting Set is the perfect combination of tools to have on your hip when stalking big game. Two complimentary knife styles to conquer any outdoor task, together in one tandem sheath.
The short bowie is your general-purpose knife. With a 5" blade of Scandi-ground O1 tool steel and a partially sharpened false-edge, it is ideally suited to heavy duty cutting chores, field dressing, and wood carving.
The broad skinning knife is better suited to more precise tasks, like food preparation and butchering. It also features a 5" blade of O1 tool steel, but is flat ground with lots of belly for keen slicing.
Both knives have matching two-tone handle scales; one side is charred birch, and the other bloodwood.
The hunting set comes with a heavy-duty double sheath with solid copper hardware.
